Philly Bike Action!

Reports

Philly Bike Action does a lot of work behind the scenes, like data collection and researching infrastructure improvements. Sometimes, that work comes together in a formal report that we send to the City!

PBA research is totally independent. PBA is a grassroots nonprofit, not a government contractor. The City has the final say over all projects and street designs. (PBA will refuse to write a report for money, so don't ask!)

All PBA documents are written by volunteers with local input. PBA often uses resources from the City of Philadelphia, PennDOT, PPA, DVRPC, NHTSA, FHWA, USDOT, SEPTA, and other agencies to inform technical analysis. PBA members who are subject matter experts typically review documents for correctness.
